Graduate Accountant

​

Are you a recent university graduate or close to completion of your accounting degree?

​

Do you have strong accuracy and attention to detail? Do you enjoy achieving challenging goals and have a passion for helping others succeed?

​

If so, BSP has an exciting opportunity for you to join our team as a Graduate Accountant in our Ulladulla, Batemans Bay or Moruya offices. As a graduate, we welcome your fresh ideas and energy which will complement our dynamic and aspirational business advisory and accounting teams.

​

You'll work and learn alongside experienced professionals and contribute to our common purpose of long-term business profitability for our clients, maximising client’s wealth and the growth of regional economies.

​

To be successful in this role, you'll need to have excellent communication skills and have a basic knowledge in cloud-based accounting software, specifically Xero accounting package would be highly regarded.

​

You will be given the opportunity to demonstrate your awareness and willingness to learn about:

​

  • operational solutions for small to medium-sized businesses

  • preparation of financial statements

  • reporting and lodgement requirements of the various taxation institutions, both Federal and state

  • auditing of small and medium sized entities

​

Ideally, we're looking for someone available 8:30 am-5 pm Monday to Friday, but we're open to discussing flexible working arrangements for the right candidate.

Accountant

BSP is looking for a qualified Accountant to work in one of our three offices located in Ulladulla, Batemans Bay or Moruya.

 

We’re looking for someone who has:

​

  • Excellent communication skills

  • Experienced in cloud-based accounting software, specifically xero and other software products.

  • Demonstrated broad commercial awareness of operational solutions for small to medium sized businesses.

  • BAS, ITR and Tax planning experience. 

​

Front Office Manager

​

Do you have a positive outlook and enjoy helping others?

​

Can you remain upbeat while under pressure?

We are looking for the right person to join our growing company.

​

A typical day will include:

​

  • Reception duties - meet & greet clients, answering phones, attending to mail, purchasing office supplies & tidying office

  • Data Entry & basic bookkeeping

  • Filing both electronic & paper

  • Assist with generating daily & weekly reports.

 

We value reliability, organization, and attention to detail in a candidate, along with proficiency in Microsoft Office, Xero, MYOB, and accounting principles would be preferred.

​

This is a fulltime position 5 days per week, 8:30am – 5pm, Monday to Friday in our Batemans Bay Office. You’ll have plenty of opportunity to work with a large team as you may also be required to work from our Moruya Office from time to time. You will need own transport so let us know if that will be a problem.
