John is BSP Advisory’s Managing Director. He joined the firm in 2002 and 4 years later purchased his shareholding from Chris Burcher, son of the company’s founder.

John is a Chartered Accountant and has nearly 25 years in public practice behind him. He commenced his career in 1997 in the Bathurst office of Alan Morse & Co.
​
He operates as an outsourced CFO for a number of our clients who are small to medium-sized businesses. He is passionate about growing dynamic and successful enterprises in regional areas, and in so doing, distributing wealth across country towns and creating employment opportunities for future generations so that they are not forced to move away.

John is a loyal Penrith Panthers supporter, enjoys spending time with his children and riding his vintage motor bike.
